Muslim-Filipinos celebrate Eid’l Adha

The Muslim Filipino Association in Canada is inviting all Muslim Filipinos and their family to join its Annual Eid’l Adha celebration.

There are only two legitimate celebrations in Islam, the Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha. The Eid’l Fitr is celebrated after Ramadan, the month of fasting, while Eid’l Adha is celebrated at the end of hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

This year, Muslims around the world will celebrate Eid’l Adha on November 16. In connection to this, MFAC is inviting their kababayans to gather on Nov. 20, Saturday, 2pm – 6pm at Dar al Arkam Mosque, 570 Tretheway Street, North York.
