Filipinos Making Making Waves Festival set on Aug. 6-7

It’s now confirmed that the 5th Filipinos Making Waves Festival is slated on August 6 to 7, 2011 at the Yonge-Dundas Square in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario.
The FMWF was co-founded by the wife and husband team of Teresita Mendoza Torralba and Ramon Torralba.
The festival will continue promoting the cultural heritage, music, and art of the Philippines.
It will be free to all who wish to see the programs which will be participated in by Filipinos not only in Canada but also from United States, Philippines, and other countries in Europe and Asia.
In the meantime, Teresa and Ramon Torralba are expecting to get support from the Philippine government through Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim and the private business grousp from the Philippines like the Philippine Airlines, San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, LBC-Cargo, Land Bank of the Philippines, Development Bank of the Philippines, and among others.
