Tenants hold summer party at Tahanan non-profit homes
Tenants of the TAHANAN Non-Profit Homes held a summer get together Sunday Aug. 28. With generous support from the Board of Directors, a sumptuous dinner was served with the traditional lechon, fried chicken, pansit and pinakbet. Children (and oldies too) had fun with the piñata, a sack race, musical chairs and an egg relay race. Prizes were given out to the winners. A bingo session was held to cap the day.

The successful event was made possible by the organized activity and lively participation of the tenants themselves with Mama Tonia Pinero and Tita Nena Mendoza taking iinitiative. Always there to assist was the efficient building superintendent Gabby Galuego. Guests were Tahanan Board members Evelyn Pagkalinawan and Delfin Palileo, property manager Roma Piechochinska and former president of the Silayan Community Centre Carla Rubio.
