Knights of Rizal Commanders’ Ball on Oct. 15

The Order of Knights of Rizal Canada Region Council is scheduling its 12th Commanders’ Ball on October 15, 2011 at the St. Peter and Paul Banquet Hall, Markham Road corner Milner, Scarborough.

Headed by Sir George Poblete, Regional Commander of the KOR Canada Region Council, the Council Regional leaders and elders are requesting all past and present members to kindly participate in the social event in order to see for themselves the strengtheninf of the Knights of Rizal in Canada.

Philippine President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III in a message cited the sense of honor, talents, passion for knowlege, and sacrifice and love of country, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the country’s national hero, inspires the Filipinos of their personal aspirations in the service of the nation. He said that Dr.Rizal will always serve as a “model for all of us to emulate, especially in this time of renewal , as we work toward amore just and equitable society and restoring and restoring our esteemin the international community.

On the other hand, Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said that the every Filipinos must constanly celebrate the remarkable life and heroism of Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
