Loren denies P100M offer to buy video of House break-in
MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Loren Legarda denied Tuesday offering P100 million to buy copies of a video of the break-in at the House of Representatives in 2005, which shows the switching of election returns to rig the results of the 2004 polls.
In a press conference, Legarda said it was the group involved in the break-in that offered to her the video for the price of P100 million, but that she refused because she could not afford it.
