20th Anniversary Chairman Sir George R. Poblete, with Most Rev. Bishop Vincent Nguyen, Lady Dolly Poblete and Rev. Fr. Regulo Imperial after the Mass.

The Block Rosary Crusade of Toronto celebrated their 30th Anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass on Saturday, Sep. 29. The Block Rosary member families and parishioners prayed the Rosary at the church grotto of Mother Mary, to thank the Lord for all his graces in allowing our families to pray together continuously for the past thirty years. The Knights of Columbus Honor Guards led procession to Prince of Peace Church, followed by the devotees.

The Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Bishop Vincent Nguyen in the Prince of Peace Church. Pastor Fr. Regulo Imperial and Fr. Ben Ebcas con-celebrated and Deacon Terrence Rebello assisted. Several hundred Block Rosary members, including Members from out of town (Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Stouffville, Newmarket), friends and parishioners attended the Holy Mass.
Most Rev. Bishop Nguyen admired the Block Rosary, for their daily prayer and devotion to honor Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Block Rosary Crusade of Toronto started thirty years ago with a few families in Scarborough. They have grown to over 600 member families with members located in Metro Toronto, to Oshawa to the east, and Newmarket and Stouffville to the north. They are reported to be the largest and oldest well-organized Block Rosary group in Canada.
