Ready to party yourself into shape? There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health.
The Zumba club at KCCC first started in September 2012 and since it opened has attracted 55 men and women. The class starts at 7:00 pm every Tuesday with Ogie Lupac as its zumba instructor. Ogie is a registered Zumba instructor and a ballroom and line dance instructor.
Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Columbian dancer Alberto Perez during the 1990s. Since its inception, the Zumba has grown to become the world’s largest and most successful dance-fitness program and has been popularized and accepted worldwide. The class lasts for an hour and Ogie has incorporated warm ups, and easy to follow moves in different dance styles and closes with a cool down routine that keeps you feeling relaxed and come out feeling amazing. Participants need to bring a bottle of water to keep them hydrated. Zumba can be intense at time that you might want to bring a towel. Ogie can suit his program to the participants level and routines where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body and burn fat. Not sure if this is for you? Try it out for our single day $5 drop in special and $3 for KCCC members. Please contact us at 905-602-0923 to register.
