Severina (Rening) Bustillos Paca, May 17, 2014 – May 17, 2014

Severina (Rening) Bustillos Paca, 94, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was born on January 8, 1920 in Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Juan Bustillos and Geronima Nevado (both deceased). Prior to migrating to Canada, she resided in Project 2, Quezon City, in the Philippines. She was married the late Andres V. Paca of the Manila Police Department. A graduate of the Philippine Normal Sxchool, she was an elementary public school teacher in Manila for 40 years. She is survived by 5 children: Alma Bragas (Dexter Sr.), Fe Taduran (Jojo), Sonia Rivera (Arnold), Romeo Paca (Veronica Ureta), and Lulu Parker (Peter), grandchildren: Marlene Fitzgerald, Dexter Bragas, Jr., Dennis Bragas, Regine Taduran, Laura Rivera, Chris Rivera, Rina Paca, Sabrina Parker and Chelsea Parker, and great grandchildren, Kevin Bragas & Kenneth Trawinski.

Funeral will be on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Mountainview Memorial Gardens, after a mass at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Messages to the family may be sent to Alma Bragas at 5985 Saddlehorn Drive NE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T3J4M4 or via e-mail to Fe Paca-Taduran at fptaduran@yahoo.ca.
