BRAMPTON–The Federation of Filipino Canadians of Brampton (FFCB) will host their first annual “Thank You Christmas” Formal Gala on Saturday, November 7 at The Garden Banquet Hall. This exciting fundraising event will include dinner and dancing celebrated “Pinoy-style” with delicious Filipino holiday favorites.

William Osler Health System Foundation encourages the community to experience this spectacular event and enjoy a traditional Filipino “Noche Buena” holiday celebration complete with music, entertainment and Christmas dishes of lechon (roasted pig), ham, fruit salad, rice cakes, sweets, and many different types of drinks. Do not miss out on the festivities!

The FFCB are among a growing group of community leaders who are passionate about supporting local health care. The Federation plans to launch its “Pag-ibig Peel” campaign at the dinner fundraiser in support of the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.

“The Federation of Filipino Canadians of Brampton is paving the way for all men, women and youth to get involved with building our new hospital. It is a wonderful tribute to the spirit that lives in our community,” said Ken Mayhew, President and CEO, William Osler Health System Foundation. “Building the new Peel Memorial takes a lot of community support and we are truly honored to partner with the Federation of Filipino Canadians of Brampton.”

Since opening its doors as the first hospital in Peel County in 1925, Peel Memorial has been an integral part of Brampton and surrounding communities. In recent years, the community has been working together to build the new Peel Memorial, which is scheduled for completion in Fall 2016.

Individual tickets for the event are $70. For more information or to buy tickets, please contact Mitchell Arrojado at 416.704.8639 or arrojadomitch@gmail.com.
