Far Eastern University (FEU) Boys High Class ‘64, IV-1 buddies held a mini-reunion recently at the Architectural Center of the Philippines building in Makati City, Metro Manila. From left: Edwin Obien, Peter Aventajado, Atty. Romy Macalintal, Philip Recto, Omar Oteyza, Jose Chua and Rene Ruivivar. Four of the seven are based in the U.S. and Canada. Special mention to Dr. Virgilio “Tik” Gillego who sent a bottle of whisky for his classmates to enjoy while recalling memorable moments and anecdotes of decades ago.

Nutrition and eating well with Canada’s Health Food Guide Workshop, coordinated by Manzu Man Ara and Pinky Paglingayen of Thorncliffe Neighborhood Office (TNO), presented by Saima Saleem and Shaista Iftikhar of South Riverdale Community Health Centre (SRCHC) held on Jan. 23, 2016 at TNO’s Employment Centre in Toronto. The participants are the TNO’s Caregivers-In-Transition and Seniors of RESPONSE, Support for Elderly Persons with Linda Verzosa and Susan Llanera.
