Catherine & Max: Magical Wedding
Catherine & Max: Magical Wedding
Max Uhlenbeck and Catherine Lacanlale exchanged their wedding vows in ceremonies officiated by Fr. Dante Daylusan in the Nativity Church in the parish of Acquapendente, town of Trevinano, province of Viterbo, in the Tuscan region of Italy last August 28, 2016.
The long-time sweethearts who both live and work in New York, planned and worked hard to make their wedding memorable, choosing the most romantic place they had ever been to. It was, after all, a once in a lifetime event, and they hoped to gather their closest friends and family from the Philippines, Canada, the US, and the Netherlands to share with them their special moment.
The result was a lovely wedding and reunion that the bride describes as “magical and a dream come true.”
Catherine, wearing a simple but elegant off shoulder white summery gown and a crown of baby’s breath looked like a nymph, while Max was dashing in a stylish blue linen summer suit and white walking shoes.
What made their wedding even more enchanting was the reception, where guests dined and partied in the verdantly green, tree-lined gardens of Podere Palazzo, surrounded by the picturesque views of the hills and valleys of the Tuscan region.
Catherine, an associate production manager of Banana Republic, is the daughter of Linglingay Fonacier Lacanlale, Philipppine Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, and Agerico Lacanlale, retired officer of the United Nations Development Program.
Max, a development director of the NGO Global Action Project, is the son of artist Ericka Uhlenbeck, and art books distributor Phillip Galgiani who are both based in New York City. (MAG)
