Lions Club Int’l convention, March 24-26

True to its century-old  civic service commitment and cherished tradition , the District A711 of Lions Club International is holding its  Annual Convention on March 24-26,2017 at the Sheraton Parkway North Hotel. 9005 Leslie Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario. The occasion also is a fitting celebration of Lions Clubs International’s centennial foundation.

The Centennial is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for Lions and Leos to jointly celebrate «the storied history» of Lions and Lionism throughout the world. The Canadian event will include : parade of banners, entertainment, fellowship & socials , special presentations & speeches, induction & awards ceremonies and election.

Composed of over 70 service clubs in the Greater Toronto Area, among the Filipino Canadian – based  Lions Clubs are the : Toronto Golden Vision, Toronto Mabuhay, and Toronto Maharlika.

Among the leaders of the  FilCan Lions Clubs in the GTA  who are spearheading the 2017 Annual District A711 convention are : Past District Governor & GMT coordinator Rollie De la Cruz, Region 58 chair Eduardo Calucag, Zone 58A chair Danny Galicia, Zone 6A chair Delfin Palileo, Toronto Golden Vision president Randy Bucao, Toronto Mabuhay president Paul Garcia, and Toronto Maharlika president Ferdinand Coronel.

Lion Clubs members are encouraged to register and participate  in the yearly rites “to make this the most successful District A711 convention ever”. It is also a rightful occasion  to recognize the achievements of Lions and Lion Clubs thus providing “an opportunity to make sure that our future is even more brighter”

Purposefully “roaring” from one Lion to another Lion : Be part of the celebration!
