Automotive Training Centre holds Annual Student Appreciation Day

Automotive Training Centre holds Annual Student Appreciation Day

ATCThe Automotive Training Centre located in Toronto kicked off its annual Student Appreciation Day on August 17, 2017. Students from the Automotive Technology Program got to take in the pleasure of being surrounded by some very fabulous hot rods and race cars while enjoying some BBQ served up by their instructors and college faculty. The students put their instructors behind the grill while they socialized amongst their fellow students. On hand, sponsors such as Performance Improvements had the pleasure of meeting the upcoming graduates and future auto mechanics. To make the day even more special, recent graduates stopped by to inspire the students. Ferdinand Talavera, who recently graduated and is now working for Hyundai, took his lunch hour to attend and inspire the students to work hard to achieve success. Ferdinand, knows first hand, about the challenges in starting a new career. With hard work, a passion for cars, and the skills from the college he landed position of Service Technician at Hyundai.

The Automotive Training Centre is the leader in automotive training in Canada; and its reputation has been earned over the past 30 years of establishment. With our 92% Job Placement Rate, we have gained the respect of everyone in the automotive industry, post-secondary career training institutions and the international market. The automotive field is booming. It employs over 500,000 professionals in Canada. And there are many well-paying, great jobs for ‘car lovers’ with the right training. So if you are willing to learn, work hard and apply yourself, Automotive Training Centre can give you the training to be successful in the automotive industry.

Automotive Training Centre spends time setting up students in the program and speaking with employers, finding opportunities and jobs for the graduates. What employers tell us over and over again is that they’re desperate for properly trained workers with the right attitude. People that will show up, work hard, and contribute right away. Employers love our grads because they know our students can contribute from day one, as they are trained by Licensed Mechanics both in the classroom and in the shop.
