PCUAA Summerfest 2018

The Philippine Colleges and Universities Alumni Association (PCUUA) will host their signature venue, Summerfest-Sportsfest on June 9, 2018 at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre. Date of availability of this much sought after park is a factor for the earlier date. Fourteen alumni associations are expected to participate in this much touted event now going on their 17th year.

Co-chairs Henry Taguba (San Beda) and Rose Yu (AdamsonU) with the representatives of the different alumni associations are now busy working on the logistics of the event. The morning starts with the popular competitive volleyball that never fails to energize the crowd. A short program will officially open the event followed by the children’s games. The merrymakers are at their designated tables at noontime and the Picnic of all Picnics starts, Filipino style.

After the volleyball in the morning, the sports activities resume after lunch at 2pm. The Sports committee promises a balance of sheer power and just having fun games. The key is PARTICIPATION. Trophies will be awarded to the winners to punctuate the end of the venue.
