Five Filipino-Canadians are among the 14 artists displaying their works at “The Arts Through the Eyes of Cultures,” a multicultural art exhibition currently going on at the Toronto City Hall Rotunda, from Oct. 21 to 28, 2018.

The art event is organized by the National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada (NEPMCC), with financial sponsorship by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration of the Government of Ontario, and TDBank Group.

The exhibition was launched during opening ceremonies attended by the artists, politicians, guests and officers and members of the ethnic media led by Thomas Saras, President and CEO of the NEPMCC.

The Filipino-Canadian artists are Isabel Castellvi Grosvenor, Kalayaan (Lala) Garcia, Gil Silvestre, Mel Jaluag, and Michelle Chermaine Ramos.

The other artists are: Kamran Ahmadi (Afghan); Meena Chopra (Hindi); Muhammad Muzaharul Hamdi Haque (Mazhar) (Bangladeshi); Giota Hatzigeorgiadou (Greek); Pinelopi Kapetanoudi (Greek); Elenis Konstantinidou (Greek); Marianna Patinioti (Greek); Sandro Liberato (Brazilian); Luis Alberto Medina Enriquez.
