The Philippine Artists Group of Canada held a reception for their Philippine Independence Day art exhibition the evening of Thursday June 27, 2019 at the Neilson Park Creative Centre Gallery in Etobicoke. The event marks the organization’s 31st anniversary, the 121st anniversary of the declaration of Philippine independence as well as the first nationwide Philippine Heritage Month celebration in Canada. The PAG includes selected members of well-known and professional award-winning artists. The exhibition titled, “Decade 4 Begins”, showcases new paintings and old pieces from the artists’ collections created over the years reflecting their artistic journey as the group enters its fourth decade.
