The Philippine Independence Day Council, wishes to announce one of its prestigious events, the Mabuhay Philippines Festival 2019 PIDC Gala, supported and funded by TD Bank and the Canadian Asian Heritage Multiculturalism.

Fittingly, Cristina Carpio, Editor-In-Chief Marquee Magazine and host of Amazon Prime’s Going Global and Kayla-Marie Williams, host/reporter of CP24 News are cvo-hosting the PIDC Gala program. The popular event will be held on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at Toronto Sheraton Centre Hotel Grand Ballroom, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto.

It will be an evening of fine entertainment featuring a trio of renowned performing artists, Ma-Anne Dionisio, Emilio Zarris and Martha Joy, highlighting a mini-fashion show, with selected models showcasing Kimberley Grey Ortiz’s rare collections and finally the serving of heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Purposely, PIDC is in its 21st year anniversary of the “Mabuhay Philippines Festival 2019,” themed as “Pamana” or “Heritage” will be held from Saturday, August 24th to Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario and, as well as, the initial year of the “Filipino Heritage Month” celebrations, across Canada.
