Updated Visa Regulations

The Philippine Consulate General in Toronto informs the public that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, visa-free privileges of and visa issuance to foreign nationals are temporarily suspended until further notice. Only Filipino nationals, including dual citizens, and foreign nationals exempted from the temporary suspension of visa issuance are allowed entry to the Philippines as indicated in our Advisory Nos. 7, 15 and 16 on our website: http://www.philcongentoronto.com/consular/consular visa.php. Among the foreign nationals who are exempted include the following:
1. Foreign spouses of Filipino nationals;
2. Foreign minor children and foreign children with special needs regardless of age, of Filipino nationals; and,
3. Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs regardless of age.
The above mentioned foreign nationals, including former Filipinos, may be allowed entry into the Philippines, provided that they secure or possess appropriate Philippine visas and they present documentary proof of their filiation to the Filipino nationals.
In addition, foreign nationals who possess the following valid visas are allowed to enter the Philippines: Section 13 series of Commonwealth Act No. 613, as amended; RA 7919 visa; EO 324 visa; Native Born visa; Temporary Resident Visa relative to Section 13 series of CA No. 613, MCL-07-021 Permanent Resident Visa based on Section 13{a) S(3ries of CA No. 613; EO 226 visa; 47(a)2 visa: and visas issued by the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone (APECO) and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).
