Manila Mayor Isko Moreno brought a barrage of criticisms upon President Rodrigo Duterte, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, and the government’s pandemic response, coupled with a remark strongly indicating plans to run for national office in the 2022 elections.

“Nananawagan ako, Mr. President, tanggalin ‘nyo ‘yung mga taong walang malasakit sa kapwa niya. Ako talaga – magkuwentas klaras tayo. Anyway, kakaharapin ko naman kayo sa Oktubre eh,” said Moreno on Wednesday, September 8, during an event at the Arroceros Park in Manila.
