Hayley Garcia: Toronto candidate to Miss Filipina Int’l pageant

HAYLEY GARCIA, a Toronto-born Filipino-Canadian, will be representing the cities of Toronto and Davao in the 9th Annual Miss Filipina International Pageant to be held on July 30, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.

Garcia graduated from Cardinal Carter School for the Arts specializing in vocal singing and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Science at the University of Toronto. She will proceed to take her Master’s Degree in Science major in Speech Pathology this Fall.

She’s currently working at Sick Kids Hospital supporting the COVID Response. She hopes to be a Speech Language Pathologist someday.

Hayley lives in Scarborough with her parents, Angelito Garcia and Virginia Garcia of Tagum, Davao del Norte. Her hobbies include singing, reading, playing volleyball, swimming and traveling.

This year’s pageant will be hosted by Piolo Pascual (actor, host, singer, producer) at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Preliminary Competition will be on July 29, 2022 at the same venue.
