UP Prep ‘65 class relishes Pinoy food extravaganza

UP Prep ’65 2023 reunion pictures were taken at Barrio Bangkal, Guagua Pampanga. Co-hosted by Felix Bustos at the country home of co-host Ponciano Gonzales. Food served included Kapampangan food such as balo balo, sisig, camaru, betute, kalderetang pato, tinolang manok with sale (lemon grass), tidtad, chicharon and sea food galore. Dessert included tibok tibok, sapin sapin, home-made sherbet with lychees and barquillos, siopao, san nicolas cookies, sans rival and turones de casoy and Zambales ripe mangoes. Capped by two bottles of Blue Label.

This was the penultimate event of week-long 2023 reunion of UP Prep Class ’65. Some attendees came from Vancouver, BC; Rosemead, California; Daly City, California and Orlando, Florida.

Other events were a welcome birthday dinner at penthouse office of Class President- for-Life Ericson Marquez, and an overnight outing at his farm in Silang, Cavite. (F. Bustos)
