The National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada held its CNE booth ribbon-cutting and opening ceremony on Aust 20, 2023 with guests that included the CNE president, the US Consul General in Toronto and Ontario MPP for Scarborough-Agincourt.
Thomas Saras, NEPMCC president and CEO, spoke about the organization’s mission and the work it has done for decades championing the cause of ethnic media in Canada.
The three guests, Susan R. Crystal, US Consul General; Susan Hall, CNE President; and NebojsaTatomir, Consul General to Toronto of the Republic of Serbia were conferred with honorary membership in NEPMCC.
After the ceremony and ribbon-cutting at the booth, the guests and members were treated to a light lunch.
