Melt Studio and Gallery (located at historic Base 31), is thrilled to invite you to Adryan Manasan’s “Fusion” exhibition inside the Focus Gallery, beginning December 14, running through January 7, 2024. Adryan Manasan is a visionary artisan whose passion for woodworking has found its perfect home in the welcoming embrace of Prince Edward County, since he made the County his residence in 2017. “Fusion” is an enchanting exhibit at the Melt Gallery in Base 31, featuring live edge and epoxy dining tables that pay homage to the warm and inviting spirit of The County.

Adryan’s passion of capturing the natural allure of wood in his work serves as a testament to the symbiotic relationship between artist and environment. This exhibit showcases a curated collection of live edge and epoxy dining tables, each piece a harmonious blend of organic beauty and contemporary design. These tables are much more than just furniture; they are a reflection of Adryan’s gratitude and admiration for the community that has embraced him since his arrival. The live-edge design preserves the natural character of the wood, mirroring the authenticity and genuine spirit of Prince Edward County. Meanwhile, the epoxy resin infuses a modern touch, symbolizing the evolving nature of this vibrant and diverse community.

The Focus Gallery at Melt Studio Gallery is a space for emerging to mid-career artists, to showcase their work in a gallery space of their own (with assistance with marketing and pricing of their work). Melt Studio Gallery is owned and operated by acclaimed encaustic painter, Susan Wallis who offers her mentorship to every artist who embarks upon the Focus Gallery experience. Adryan’s “Fusion” series  is on at Melt Gallery from December 14 – January 7, 2024 – There will be an opening reception December 16, 1-4 p.m. open to the public. Melt Studio Gallery is located at Base 31 in Picton and is open to the public Thursdays through Sundays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Adryan and his wife, Mel Lejano-Manasan who is also an artist were classmates in the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
