40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration of Roland and Imelda Kierulf in Tanauan, Leyte
Roland and Imelda Kierulf as they sealed with a kiss their 40th wedding celebration.
Roland Kierulf met her wife, Imelda De Veyra in Leyte Park Hotel where they were working wayback 1981. The two started as colleagues and Roland courted her then finally become couple in 1982. They then tied the know on June 10, 1984.
After 2 years, Roland got a job in Manila. They decided to move in Manila and built their family. Imelda also found a new job in the government office. They bought land in Caloocan City where they build their family house. They were blessed with four children (Christine, May, Rolando Jr. and Ma. Imelda).
Married life has not been easy as they grow their family, but the couple never forget to seek God’s guidance in everything. They put God as the center of the family and always have each other in any circumstances.
Forty years later, they decided to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in Tanauan, Leyte with family and friends. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon of 20 July 2024 in Assumption of Our Lady Parish. The reception followed in Tanauan Apostolic Center. As a prostate cancer survivor, it was an answered prayer for Roland Kierulf to still celebrate long married life with his wife, Imelda.
The couple was thankful for the time and effort of all their guests, including those who travelled from Manila. They plan to retire next year on their little farm in Tanauan, Leyte.
